Why Nayerly exists
The mission behind the app
I built Nayerly alone at a kitchen table in Medellín after moving four thousand miles for a woman I could not talk to. I am a self taught developer with no credentials worth listing. I had been alone for almost ten years when I prayed for a wife last December, and everything that followed, the woman, the move, the app, the courage to build it, I believe came from God, and I will not pretend otherwise. Three lines inside the app say so. One of them reads: Guided by the hand of God Almighty, who set the path - first and always.

The promise
It is not all mine to keep. Twenty percent of every dollar Apple pays me for Nayerly goes to good work in His name. The first fight is hunger, through a nonprofit I am building in Edmonds, Washington. Until it exists, that twenty percent sits in its own account, untouched.
Apple takes its commission before the money ever reaches me. The twenty percent comes off the top of what lands in my account, before I pay for anything else.
