Information We Collect

None. Nayerly does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, voice recordings, translations, usage data, analytics, or device identifiers to our servers. We do not operate servers that process user data, because Nayerly does not need them — every translation happens locally on your device.

Microphone Access

Nayerly requests microphone access to listen to your speech and translate it in real time. Audio is processed entirely on your device using on-device language models. It is never recorded to disk, sent over the network, or shared with any third party. When you close the app or stop a translation session, the audio data is discarded.

On-Device Language Models

All 22 language models are downloaded to your device during initial setup. After that initial download, no internet connection is required for translation, and no data about your translations is transmitted anywhere. Future language packs and updates are delivered through the App Store, not through any Nayerly-operated server. Those downloads come from Apple's servers, so Apple sees standard delivery metadata (such as your IP address) exactly as with any App Store download — we never see any of it.

Purchases, Subscriptions, and Apple Family Sharing

All purchases — subscriptions and the one-time Lifetime unlock — are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, email address, payment information, or any other personally identifying purchase data — Apple provides us only an anonymized purchase record. Subscription billing, renewal, and cancellation all happen through your Apple Account. Apple Family Sharing is handled entirely by Apple's systems; we have no visibility into who is using a shared license.

The free tier includes 10 minutes of microphone time per day. That daily counter is kept only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

Third-Party Services

Nayerly does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. We do not embed third-party SDKs that collect user data.

Website Analytics

This website (nayerly.com) uses Google Analytics to measure anonymous page visits so we can see how people find Nayerly — and only if you tap Accept on the cookie notice. If you decline, no analytics load at all. That applies to the website only — the Nayerly app contains no analytics, tracking, or third-party SDKs of any kind.

Children's Privacy

Nayerly is suitable for users of all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information from any user, we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Data Security

Because no user data leaves your device, there is no server-side database for an attacker to breach. Your translations are as private as the rest of the data on your phone, protected by your device's built-in encryption and your passcode.

Your Rights

Under privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA, you have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. If you wish to remove Nayerly's data from your device, simply delete the app — all language models and any local cache will be removed with it.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify users through an in-app message on the next launch. Continued use of Nayerly after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
